Deer Day Fall Festival

Join us for our annual fall festival on Saturday, October 19th from 9-2 at the Oglethorpe City Park.  You'll enjoy live entertainment, arts and crafts, fabulous food, raffles and prizes, hay ride, games and family-friendly fun! Hunters may compete for prizes including youngest hunter, first female hunter of the day, and first male hunter of the day.

We also have a 5k Deer Dash run-walk starting at 9am! For more information, please contact Natalie Bradley at 478.472.6485. You may pick up sponsorship and vendor information at the Oglethorpe City Hall or contact us to have one emailed to you.

This event is sponsored by our Oglethorpe Better Hometown committee. 

Trick or Treat in the Park

Trick or Treat with us at the Oglethorpe City Park from 6-7pm on Halloween!  

We are looking for volunteers to bring candy, setup a table or just use your trunk/tailgate and pass out candy to the local children. Please anticipate several hundred children.

Artists & Makers Market on #ShopSmall Saturday

Come shop for Christmas (or just because) on Sumter Street in Downtown Oglethorpe, GA on #shopsmall Saturday. That's Saturday, November 30th from 11-1 downtown on the sidewalks and in the shops on Sumter Street. We'll have local artists, makers, musicians, food and drinks, and stores open for you to come shop with us in downtown Oglethorpe!

Christmas Tree Lighting

Join us for our very annual downtown Christmas Tree Lighting and Carols on Friday, December 6th at 7pm at the Oglethorpe City Hall.

We will have local choirs singing carols, cocoa, cookies, and photo opportunities with Santa after the Christmas tree lighting.

Come join us at the Oglethorpe City Park for family-friendly trick-or-treating. We're always looking for more help in handing out treats, so please join us and bring goodies for the children and decorate a table, your trunk or just bring a smile and some candy. We'll see you in the park!
