The Oglethorpe Better Hometown has 2 annual festivals, Turkey Day and Deer Day.  We are an agricultural community and boast our hunting and outdoor activities. Even though the festivals have a hunting theme, there's something for everyone! 

The fun and exciting Deer Day Fall Festival, which will be held on November 11, 2016 at the Oglethorpe City Park located at 500 Sumter Street, Oglethorpe, Ga 31068.  

Come out and enjoy our Deer Day Fall Festival at the Oglethorpe City Park. We are expecting over 75 vendors! There will also be boune houses, train rides, a merry-go-round and much, much more fun for the entire family! 

Raffle tickets and door prize tickets will also be sold before and at the event! Stop by the Oglethorpe City Hall at 115 Chatham Street to purchase your tickets!

Cutest Kid in Camo Contest, Chili Cook-off, Cake Walk, Gifts, 50/50 Raffle Tickets, Live Entertainment, Youngest Hunter contest, biggest buck contest and much, much more!

Vendors: Booth space is still available but is filling fast! Booth spaces are 12 X12 and are a bargain price of $15.00 without electricity & $25.00 with electricity!
